<p>I got a letter last week…no semifinalist status for me.</p>

<p>Anyone received any info on merit scholarships recently?</p>

<p>Quite a few of them are location specific (example-one might be a merit scholarship with preference to people from Texas or something).</p>

<p>Anyways…I’ve got my eye on some of them that apply to me (from SC), so I was wondering if anyone knows if they have given out such scholarships (not just ones to SC people but to anyone from a certain area)?</p>

<p>better check to make sure the Belk Scholarships will still be available next year! In case you haven’t heard yet, Belk just resigned as a Trustee. More here…</p>
