In a day and age where 78% of Americans self-identify as “Christian” and over 90% are religious to some degree (other faiths and/or believe in a ‘higher power’), a couple of ‘religious’ credits shouldn’t be a big deal for most.

I’d not disagree but I think it depends on the role that religion plays at the school. Some of us remember a heartbreaking thread about administrative decisions made at Shorter University which prompted many to flee their MT program in protest. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/musical-theater-major/1236940-shorter-university.html

One more for the list. American University is Methodist too.
