Wellā¦.weāll have to wait until March 31st, as he was deferred to regular decision. Guess itās better than a rejection, but still disappointing to have to wait longer

Iām trying to decide if i should peek! haha Daughter is already in bed asleep and i am dying to know. 
My kid is sleeping and the decision is ready. Iām having an existential crisis!

My son got the same thing!! So hard to wait another two months but yes heās relieved itās not a rejection. But I do think my son definitely needs to start thinking about other plans if he gets the no in March!

Oh my. Thatās a tough call. If you knew it was good news, youād definitely want to wake them up! I set my alarm so Iād be up when my son got the decision but the non-decision just left us in limbo!

Luckily, my son was accepted. We should all be so proud of how hard these kids worked for these auditions!

Anyone know the chances of getting an acceptance during regular decision if deferred from early action? Knowing we have 2 more months of waiting is killing me. He has one other school to fall back on, but ultimately he would apply to Berklee again next fall as a transfer applicant if he doesnāt get in. I am just trying to prepare for the long haul and really wishing that we had some glimmer of hope for the March 31 decisionā¦.
Go to Google & type in, ācollege confidential Berklee College of Music deferral from early actionā. There is 1 reply from a few years ago that gives good insight. Not sure what has changed since that post. I hope it works out for March 31!
