<p>Thanks for the detailed response, I really appreciate it. Being accepted has been bittersweet because I was not offered any scholarship money, which is pretty crucial to my ability to go there. And I felt discouraged because I (thought) I nailed my audition, but even if i did i realize there are a million other players out there who did better. so i’m happy i’m in. Music is of course the only thing I want to do and i’ve worked my butt for all of my auditions. I have nothing against the curriculum, actually it’s my favorite out of all of the schools i’ve applied to because it’s so diverse, while retaining jazz roots. And yes I’m well aware of esperanza, seeing that I live in portland shes a hometown favorite here 
actually i’ll be attending a free clinic with her next week. Anyways I’m just questioning a lot of things but I won’t know for sure what can happen until I receive word from the rest of my schools. Maybe i’ve always put berklee into a too good to be true way, but it has been the one school i’ve always wanted to go to.</p>
