@4kids4us I like that weekender tote for me!
Gifts I got my daughter before college, but not necessarily at Christmas: hammock, duffel bag that can be folded down (or wadded up) to almost nothing (both on Amazon), and a strand of battery “clip lights”- can hang anywhere in dorm and attach photos. She is a sophomore now and has used the clip lights both years in dorm. I got them at Urban Outfitters.
My son is a SR and still awaiting decisions - I don’t plan get him anything college-related for Christmas.
Also got my daughter a “college survival hacks” book for Christmas before college - it was a bust even though I thought she would enjoy it!
@doschicos the tiles AlbionGirl mentioned are like little alarms to find your misplaced phone/keys/stuff. I’m not sure how they work exactly, but I’m constantly having to call my daughters phone she left in the house somewhere, then we have to turn off the TVs and listen for it
OK I’ve made a purchase - D is a boxed Mac and cheese addict (I swear we offer her better choices) and there was some kind of electric, one pot Mac & Cheese cooker advertised on Facebook and she begged. I miss college lol
@PAcigmom That is so funny. My friend’s son is the same. Not even Annie’s Mac and Cheese but the Kraft one with orange cheese. He gets that for Xmas every year.
This came through my email today and I, of course, thought of this thread. Some cute stuff for the mac and cheese aficionados. https://www.society19.com/hilarious-gift-ideas-for-people-who-love-mac-and-cheese/
I think for high school students, giving fashion accessories as a gift can be a best option.
