Ok…that totally didn’t help at all.

Your mind is showing quitejaded…and it looks small.

Reed doesn’t have a womens soccer team as far as I know- they do play rugby however.

Holy Cross has a very good Classics major and HC just completed a multi-million dollar soccer stadium. Unlike Smith in Western Mass, Holy Cross is 1 hour to Boston. The school is Jesuit as is Georgetown.

if you live on the west coast you should at least consider college in a different part of the country. There is a big thread right now about going away for college so I won’t list all the arguments here, but you should read thru it and maybe talk to some people you know who’ve gone away for college to get their opinion.

When I hear tomboy I have in mind what SBmom said. I’d suggest avoiding schools dominated by the greek scene, since sororities tend to play towards the activities it sounds like you’re not the most fond of. And I’d suggest looking for schools with large participation in intramural programs if you like sports (as your name suggests).

‘‘great location and students there are very happy’’

lmao hazmat, what do ‘‘you’’ mean by happy?

One girl came from a boarding school in MI…a dance major who had some body
“issues” was sick of the focus on figures, small community of like interests and also small town setting. She matriculated at Mills and has been very impressed w/ the diversity, friendliness, academic challenge, intellectual quality, sports ops and mentoring by teachers. All of her classes are small, she takes a dance class, swims and also feels much less stress on the “girlie” stuff…right hair, clothes and friends…boyfriend drama. Campus is beautiful and yet very close to BART and SanFrancisco…lots to do even in Oakland. Got some merit money and overrall has found it a pleasant and stimulating experience.

Girl Two is a creative writer…from UpperMidWest and a scholar as well. Loves CA and finds classes very stimulating…got a job on campus, got merit money…dorms very nice…teachers very helpful and interested in students. All that she hoped for.

Sanguine007…this is the happiness definition by the students at Mills whom I know…NOT my opinion. What good is my opinion of MILLS i am not a student there.
