Best GE Cat 4 and 6 Classes?

Note that I don’t have any experience with any of these classes.

The GE cat. 4 classes look like they’re all relatively basic science courses. They don’t even have any pre-requisites. If you really want to avoid science, try for one of the linguistics courses (LING) or Chem 203, “This course is designed primarily for non-science majors”. There’s also a philosophy course (PHIL).

With GE cat. 6, you may want to think about choosing a course that also fulfills the diversity requirement. If it has an “m” at the end of the course name, like GEOG 100gm, then it takes care of both its GE category and diversity. There’s some other diversity requirement classes in other categories if you don’t like any of the GE cat. 6 ones. I’m pretty sure that these kinds of classes fill up quicker than normal since they have this extra benefit. With that in mind, choose multiple you’re interested in before registration.
