<p>checking out and researching is fine – but its better to do that for more schools to help you decide how to narrow your list, rather than narrowing your list first. and your comment about reducing your cost of application fees also concerns me. the sunys are getting increasingly competitive to get into – binghamton especially – so even if you decide which program you think you prefer, it may not be a safe idea to cross the others off your application list.</p>
