<p>Also, I slightly remember doing a lot of grammar crap in 8th grade. We did worksheet after worksheet on commas and other punctuation and grammar. That was so annoying. And then we had to take a class called grammar again in 9th grade!</p>
<p>On the last practice test I took, my CR was 600, math 780, writing 700</p>
<p>I got all my sentence completions right, most of the short reading right, it was just this roman art compare/contrast piece with 15 questions that I got about 2 right. Otherwise, I probably would have gotten a 700+… lol</p>
<p>I dunno. I bought Kaplan’s CR workbook, and it seems to have helped. </p>
<p>Do you read the questions or passage first? and do you “skim” or actually read the passage?</p>
<p>OK, my goal is alittle less…i want to raise my CR and Writing scores to 650+ from 520 and 460</p>
<p>i know i can do better on writing cuz i just messed up that day, however, the CR is hard b/c im a recent immigrant from taiwan…and i am really not good @ all these vocabs, so what should i do??</p>

<p>well i strongly recommend rocketreview. It raised my score by 120 points. I got a 650 on the old SAT verbal and on the June SAT I got a 770</p>
<p>when you say that, do you mean that you improved the score by practicing or following methods…</p>
<p>b/c personally, it’s NOT helpful when you don’t understand the words, it IS helpful, if you know the words and don’t know which word suits the best.</p>

<p>welll I wanna imporve too…I had 630 on CR…I have problems (major ones with sentence completition questions)…so I’m learning as many words as I can…I also had 610 on W 
but only because I messed up the answers on my answer sheet (god how stupid can I be???)…anyway…normally I should have had at least a 700…well hope I’ll do better…though I have many other things to do except preparing my sat…like having fun 
…meaning going in camp…then to the sea-side…then studying also for my sat2 subjects…math2…well that shouldn’t be a problem…(hope so
