Best well-rounded college?

You need to check how many kids from your country colleges typically enroll.

If it is one or two, recognize you need to be the top applicant from your country.

What are the most well-rounded Ivy league colleges? I know about UPenn, how are the rest?
From Niche.com’s rankings I found Columbia is almost as well rounded as UPenn. What do you think? Is Niche reliable?
Also, what are the cultural differences between North and South? I hear a lot that Northerners have difficulty fitting in Southern colleges like Vandy. I really don’t know what are the differences and I can’t
decide which one is better for me (btw I love western movies and Cowboy outfit!)

@Clarinetdad16 I don’t know how can I find the number of Iranians, but I know there are really few undergraduate students in US, and most iranians go to the US for postgraduate. Iran has good undergraduate universities, but the main thing that attracts me to the US is the fact that I can apply there as undecided major. I don’t know about Canada and Australia. And I want to have a good time in my college years because we don’t have ANY ECs and social life here in Iran!

Also about weather, I live in a Very rainy city ( 2 times more than Seattle) and mild temperature. We almost don’t have any sunlight in 9 months throughout the year. I don’t know if I can’t bear lack of yellow and red foliage in fall in LA! I think the temperature of Nashville and my city is similar except for rain and humidity (here it becomes very humid and hot in summer. It’s interesting that the best weather of Iran is considered the worst weather in the US!! And how people complain about hotness and humidiry of Nashville summer days! People! Come to Khuzestan or Yazd in summer to understand what hotness means!)

What do you think about MIT, Wustl, UCSB, Yale, NYU and Dartmouth?
I can’t physically visit colleges, what can I do then?

Not sure I’d include Miami and SMU in the lists I see them included in this thread. They are a full jump down from the UVas, and even more so as compared to the Dukes, Northwesterns and Stanfords of the world.

If you’re going to lump in Miami, why not Boston University or Texas? We could keep going here …
