Better to get an A in less demanding classes for elite college admissions?

It worries me that if my son were to not gain admission to Stanford despite superior academics and following what these colleges tell them, e.g. challenge onself, this would be a bad lesson for him to learn.

Even if he take BC and gets an “A”, it is still unlikely that he will get into Stanford. That is just the reality.
