As people posted here, dream school is a desire not a must. For example, my friend is complaining that he is paying expensive OOS rate at Uof WAshington while I am here in my school barely paying anything thanks to merit scholarship

Maybe the OP didn’t come back because he didn’t hear what he wanted to hear. There seems to be a lot of that going on here, kids ask for advice but don’t like the responses. Oh well. I still believe the financial reality discussions are some of the most informative on this website.
