Bicycle for an older woman?

You don’t have to be very accurate. Just time it with a stopwatch, counting how many times your right foot goes down. Soon you’ll get a feel for your rpms, which cyclists call cadence.

If your feet are going at the same rate they’d be going at a moderate walk (around 100 steps per minute, equivalent to 50 rpms on a bike) that’s too slow.

Thanks, CF. Also, I found a website that lists songs at the various rpms so you can make a playlist. :)
