Big mistake

That’s okay, proof not needed, and I meant no insult. They were just trying to get you to apply. Then, they’d decide whether to accept you or not based on the entire make-up of their class and your application. Take a look again at that letter. Does it really say you would be accepted, or something a bit more vague.

It’s impossible to get in, especially now, if you haven’t applied. It’s your fault for not applying months ago and they will not bend over backwards just for you when there are tons of other applicants vying for a spot at Gtown.

Okay, well as you may know, many unnamed colleges send letters exactly as you described. The one I have from Georgetown also fits that category. However, I received phone-calls from student alum, and actual signed letters from reps asking me to apply. (These in addition to the generic letter) It seemed to me Georgetown went a little further than other colleges. The “only one in NC” is also true, but who am I to assume acceptance. Maybe they do this to others also, obviously my stats aren’t exactly the best in world. oh well, no use working others and myself over this issue. :D

It remains the case that there is no condensed 7-year college + med school program at Georgetown. This detail does raise questions regarding the veracity of the rest of the story…
