<p>Is that why they are on the same list for rankings on USNews? They are only apples to oranges in size, but both of them being universities can be compared for the resources they offer and their academics.</p>

<p>The admission standards for the regular area of the two college are almost identical, which you can see on my previous post. I don’t think comparing Schreyer to Binghamton would be helpful, as Schreyer’s numbers are significantly higher.</p>
<p>I do think that both are very good schools, as I have said in previous posts, but I have been surprised not only by how many people from NY are coming on here and don’t just believe Binghamton to be better, but how there are people posting on here that really believe that Penn State University Park’s students are C- students in high school and are “outright dumb”. This is simply not true, and I am not sure how you expect anyone associated with Penn State University Park to not be insulted. Penn State University Park outranks Binghamton for a reason. It’s not a conspiracy against Binghamton. The experts believe the academic experience of Penn State University Park to be better. </p>
<p>While I agree that the applicant pools are different, with Penn State University Park having received 15,000 more, the size of an applicant pool has no impact on the academics of an institution, so I do not find that relevant.</p>

<p>Well, I guess it is good to see that your insults do not solely focus on Penn State University Park. Rutgers is a good school, and is another school that outranks Binghamton. What should we put weight on, your opinion?</p>

<p>It’s a little late for that, after all of your insults of Penn State University Park and its students. Anyway, Penn State University Park will continue to be a great school with or without your better opinion.</p>
