<p>The only reason bing is recognized is because of it low acceptance rate. The reason why is because its the least expensive of any nys school that is decent. NYS doesn’t offer it’s residence any good schools. Did you ever hear of a school that make it easier for OOS than IS? If Bing raised their OS prices, NO ONE would attend from OOS!</p>
<p>Bing is loaded with smart kids who aren’t chanllenged, are smothered because they accept too many for the size of its campus, terrible teachers who are also underpaid for thier work, and a horrible administration.</p>
<p>Penn State is better. Kip rates bing #1 because of price. If it were as expensive as penn state, it wouldn’t be #1. And Kip, you get what you pay for! Think VALUE!</p>
<p>Btw, in 2007, under “Top 50 Public…” penn state up was rated #13 and bing was rated #38 as per US News, which sets the standards for ratings.</p>
