<p>Okay. I’m from New Jersey, so I’m definately not biased. lol</p>
<p>I visited Binghamton and Penn State recently and putting a comparison between the two is difficult; they are both VERY DIFFERENT schools. It all comes down to preference. If you like a huge (as well as pretty) campus, tons of school spirit, the party life, the name recognition, then Penn State is for you. Binghamton is a bit quieter and the campus may need some work, but the surrounding area and Bing’s nature preserve are gorgeous. </p>
<p>Academically, however, the two are solid schools. Penn State has always been strong in academics, but I can definately see Bing rising in the ranks. I’d say give Bing about a few years-- it’s still a young school, only 63 years old. Also, if price is an issue, Bing’s definately worth it, especially if you’re an OOS. Go to Penn State if you can afford it.</p>
<p>Like I said it’s all about preference. I may end up at Bing since it’s within my budget and I love the snow. :]</p>
