<p>honestly, as far as public schools go, i’d take the likes of michigan, ucla, berkeley, virginia, or north carolina over the regionally known private schools any day. even the economy, especially in michigan and california, is down the gutter, those schools are still pretty amazing in terms of the overall prestige. and people, this is before we talk about the tuition. the last thing i want to do is spend $30K a year going to a small private school (unless it’s a top school) to not find a job in this economy.</p>
