<p>^ Well, maybe. Some tend to apply themselves more so academically in stressful/dissatisfying situations as a means to move on to great things (medical school). Furthermore, excess sociability could result in academic negligence. Your GPA will be the result of your diligence and ability. </p>
<p>…that being said, you’re going to spend four years at this school, so you will probably want to pick somewhere you will be comfortable. Both schools have good programs (although UT probably has a better reputation), but Austin and College Station are very different places.</p>
