I don’t know exactly how many people major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, but the Sciences are extremely strong at Reed-especially Biology. The Biochemistry programme itself is extremely hard, so while you may go onto a top graduate school, you may very well end up with a 2.8 GPA-which is the average for Biochemistry majors. However, as you probably already know, Reed isn’t just about the grades you earn, and that’s why Reedies go onto do wonderful things despite their deflated grades.

Engineering is definitely a possibility, as long as you don’t depend on Financial Aid. If you do, the process becomes much tougher. You can always take up Engineering at the Masters level after graduating from Reed though.
