Biochem & Mol Bio Major at Reed

i am an interested student. i really like their educational philosophy and am interested in applying to reed in the fall but i have a lot of concerns about the rigors of Reed, can someone chime in on the rigor of premed at Reed

[Reed College | Career Services |](http://web.reed.edu/career/graduate_and_prof_schools/med_school_health_care/index.html#intro)

this a link i found and i find it a real turnoff that a 3.4 and 30 MCAT is the average for the accepted applicant.

IMO a 3.4 and 30 MCAT would probably get that person into a low tier medical school. My goal is to go a top 10-20 medical school after undergrad.

would you guys recommend me picking a mid tier public school. for example UC Davis over Reed to avoid very hard curriculum? if my goal is to go to a very prestigous medical school
