Biology 2010 Prep

@ thehulk. uh yea. a lot of questions
for that H-W problem, i thought u meant percentage out of TOTAL population, not just grey moths. so yea, 67% makes sense

runningonempty was that last response about needing about 4 pts per question addressed to me?

^Yes

.

for all of those ppl claiming that my list was unimportant, 3/4 of the list comes directly from previous ap’s and the ap can potentially ask about any of them, fortunately there is a over-sympathetic curve, so technically if u don’t know all of the things on the list u can still get a 5, but some of the things on the list such as ā€œcasparian cell made of suberinā€ although it might seem like an unnecessary term to know it appeared on half of the released exams

ok i gotta do my last minute cramming, so im getting out, but in about 3.5 days ill be happy to complain how hard or celebrate how easy the frq’s were

good luck to all
u guys all seem somewhat intelligible from the cerebral conversations being carried out
so there will prob b a lot of 5’s from the ppl on this forum

^ I have never seen ANYTHING mention casparian cell made of suberin.

Never.

I’ve heard of a casparian strip, but I’m assuming they’re not the same things.

i think hes just talking about the material and im out… aiming for that 5.

do you think we’ll need to know anything about microscopes?

if so, what should we know?

I think I’m done for the night. I wish I had more time, but …

Good Luck, you guys! :)

how many points should i get for frq if i have 71 correct on mc?

I don’t think we’ll have to know anything for microscopes; if at all, I guess, if a lab question said ā€œlight microscopeā€ I guess you should realize that’s not the same as an electron microscope.

Gonna go get my 5. GL everyone.

@rawkfist: [AP Pass - AP Test Calculators, Study Guides, and Resources](http://www.appass.com)

does anyone else agree that after the exam, we should make a new thread so we dont have to deal with 100+ pages of posts at once?

^I second that motion.

I’m confused, which produces testosterone and other male androgens in the male gonad, interstitial cell or Leydig cell?

AP’s are designed so that no one gets a 100%, look through enough tests you’ll find the strangest things. I have the test where it asks what a Casparian strip is and what it does, I don’t think they’ll ask you what it is made of…

I think a Leydig cell is a type of interstitial cell, but I don’t think that the AP needs that detailed of an answer (that, or I am screwed beyond belief).

Leydig cells are interstitial cells of the Leydig

The immune system and classification are simply too detailed for me! da he11 with them!!!

I’m pretty sure my teacher said we didn’t need to know Leydig cells…
