I am just happy with my FRQ…there are many topics that COULD have OWNED me, but the 4 this year just didn’t…it was the opposite on physics B though…i got owned like on every question

does that mean that we get the harder questions

^ err… not really. i dont think so. form A and form B have completely different topics. plus whats “hard” depends really on what topic you are most uncomfortable w/ and level of difficulty

i liked the free response, all except the first one =S

wait, im guessing you guys are from foreign countries?? if so where?

Technically, we can’t surprise CB with a record number of 5s…they weight it so only a certain percentage get 5.

how are you still posting if ur AP bio exam is like right now?!

I took it in India, timing difference so early…and lol the only way we all get 5’s is we all get around the same score…

^ dif. country. same idea.

so… did u like the exam? it was better than i expected.

^
yea I got relieved when I saw the FRQ’s…but as for physics B, i got screwed…
Bio was so much easier than physics

i heard!!! alot of my friends were taking physics

bio, the mc wasnt that bad, but some questions were really confusing at times, stuck b/w two choics.

but free r. was good i suppose. just the first one caught me off guard. i really liked the last two.

MC wasn’t too bad. I’m thinking I got 75+, I was stuck between two choices for a bunch of the questions.

FR was awesome! I didn’t write that much, but I think I wrote enough to get most of the points

I took the test in usa. It wasn’t too bad. Mc were fairly easy. Frqs werent too bad either, though b/c I didn’t look over ecology part-which was sooo stupid- I hesitated on the last frq. I def got 4, but my goal was 5, so idk… lets see how the final result comes out

I thought it was easier than I expected, I ended up skipping 7 MC, but all the others I knew. Especially the last ones…where soo easy haha.

I was pleased with the FRQ, i knew about half of the 1st question. Second I’m sure I got a 10, third I did well, and I believe (or at least hope) I did well on the 4th.

The MC were fairly easy. The FRQs caught me off guard since my teacher is an absolute failure. I recalled more information from my own individual study. Definitely, my second and third essays were the best, like 9-10 range. I wrote about six sentences for the fourth FRQ and squeezed in a whole bunch of information lol. The first one… was okay… 5, if I’m lucky. It was a good test though. I think I got a 4, even a five if the MC were as good as I think they were, which they probably aren’t.

I created a new thread for post-exam discussion and thoughts, so that this 68-page thread can get a little rest.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/869563-2010-ap-biology-exam-discussion.html

Yeah, I’m almost positive I at least got a 4. Its just the fate of the curve whether its a 5 or not for me…

Almost too easy! hope the curves not too bad

Wow, that’s a bit surprising. The MC weren’t THAT great for me, I think I got 50% done by my first sweep and was indecisive about like 30 while going back.

FRQ’s weren’t easy. 1st one was ok, but that 3rd part was really hard.
2nd was pretty good.
3rd was okay, though I feel I didn’t elaborate enough.
4th was alright as well.

Question: If I stated what they asked in another part of what they asked but didn’t say “Blank is defined as the blah blah” do I still get credit?

^ that’s exactly how I was lol
except I thought 1 was really hard because I knew none of that crap hahahaha
and 2 and 3 were super easy, I better have gotten all 10 pts
4 was alright : P
I think I may have picked up half points on that one lol

and Idk about your last question haha I’m sure as long as it’s in there…you’ll be fine ![]()
surely…

uhhhhh looks like i’m the only one here who thought it was AWFUL. it went so much worse than my other exams (spanish and u.s. history).
mc i skipped about 44 during my first run-through. i ended up answering most of the questions (like 97 or so). i don’t know how i did…i’m guessing i got 50 right, but it could be more, could be less…who even knows.
first essay…after reading the first sentence i was like WHAT DA EFFFFFF (in my head) and clearly everyone else was thinking the same thing cuz all of us just started laughing sooo hard. …the proctor was like uhh whats so funny…the first essay was on a topic we didn’t get to.
second and fourth essays…bad.
third essay…nailed that stuffff.

i’m thinking i got a 3…if i get reallllly darn lucky, a 4.
