Try your hardest to get Spell for biol 141/142 and mulford for 141/142, or take freshmen orgo if you already have ap chem credit, and don’t take biol 141 if u already have ap bio credit (just take biol 142 + upper level bio). If you don’t have credit for either, you’ll be glad down the line u took these classes w/ these profs. Stay away from Escobar for biol 141, or Liotta and Gallivan for orgo, but any of the three gen chem lecturues (mulford, weaver, morkin) are fine. Spell and Mulford may seem a bit challenging at first, but it’s that challenge that’ll keep you engaged and focused, as well as training u to get used to rigor early on. Also, you’ll get a more thorough understand of these 2 subjects, which definitely goes a long way in helping u get a good score on the mcat (which is just as important as ur gpa in getting into med school, so don’t sacrifice one for the other).
