Biology at NYU

I really don’t know much, but I recently went to NYU and asked a student the same question regarding biology. I heard being a biology major is very similar to being pre-med, you take a lot of the same classes. The biology program at NYU is supposedly very rigorous and often includes long, difficult labs that may last many hours and take up time on the weekend. They advised me that I should only do it if I was really passionate about and set on the major.

I don’t know if you have looked around the Biology department’s website yet, but if you haven’t you should. It may give you a better idea of what it is like and will probably answer some of your statistical questions. If not, there is probably contact information that will allow you to get in touch with someone who knows.
