<p>My understanding (from extensive conversations with friends at HYS) is that Stanford cares the most about ‘soft factors’ as well – extracurricular achievement, letters of rec, etc. So be sure not to forget those!</p>
<p>Otherwise, I’d say aim for a 165 or higher. That GPA as a math major will stand out, even though Stanford does have grade inflation 
(I kid, I know math is one of the more difficult majors there)</p>

<p>PS- you should look into intellectual property (IP) law with your quant background. Fascinating field, but normally reserved for those who are good with numbers/science. Cheers~</p>
