We stayed at The Verb Hotel on Boyleston St., it was about halfway between Northeastern and BU, and walkable to the T, which we used to visit Tufts. It was a fun, quirky little hotel that had a typewriter and record player in the room. We loved it, just because it was different- broke up the monotony of regular hotels during our college visit trip

Sure, I prefer Back Bay to Cleveland Circle too…but staying in Cleveland circle would be a better representation of what it’s like to be a student at BC or BU. Plus, you can park a car there and get out of the city more easily as a visitor.
No one at BU goes to Cleveland Circle. But every kid at BC comes in to Back Bay, Fenway and Kenmore, which are all close to BU.

Stayed at Revere Hotel in Back Bay for first time when moving out D23 from Emerson last week. Very nice hotel; they were opening the rooftop lounge the night we left so we didn’t experience it. There’s a (relatively) inexpensive parking garage across the street for $33/24 hours that’s below the Emerson alley.
