@JoRocks Wow, I can’t believe that. It seems as if they have taken waitlist kids every year for at least the past few years. Looks like this was a tough year to apply. I haven’t gotten anything, but that’s super disappointing considering BC was my top choice school

You are obviously a qualified candidate, and have a lot going for you. Take some deep breaths, and pray. We all face adversity at some time in life, and being able to navigate through this will only make you stronger. I wish you the best.
@JoRocks I’m sure you are an incredible candidate as well. This whole process is so frustrating, but you definitely have great options. Also, what school did you apply to within BC?

Hate to say, but there is no reported WL movement so far. It does not bode well.
Don’t give up hope. It only takes a few finaid mess ups or a Wl offer from somewhere else to get some spots to open. Hang in there but start getting into the other great school you said yes to as well.
Georgetown is starting to move which may mean some kids drop from BC. But at this point it seems like BC is over enrolled, so it’s going to take more then a few de-commits for the BC wl to move.
So they probably won’t take any students at all off the Waitlist? not even a few?
@rm29rm29 I don’t think we will know that absolutely until BC sends an email stating the WL is closed. That being said, it seems less and less likely as given the lack of movement so far. @privatebanker is spot on that it only takes a few changes to open up spots but “few” is the key word…single digits is my bet.
It looks that they are over-enrolled. They do not need to use the WL to fill the class. However, there will be some summer melts, the dropouts by committed students. BC may decide to fill these seats from WL, or they may leave these extra spaces open(unlikely). So there is still some slim hope for some lucky students.

@JoRocks Thanks for letting me know! I’m sure your son or daughter is an incredible student and individual to have made it to the waitlist of the nursing school in the first place. Whether or not they end up at BC, everything will work out for them. I’m sure they have great options and will love wherever they end up! I wish both of you the best 
I saw today that Georgetown may take 75-100 kids off the waitlist… Could be good for BC wl maybe?
Anyone heard any new waitlist information? Our daughter is on and would be thrilled to get an offer.
@cattledog Nothing yet. They haven’t used it at all, to date.
However some of their most competitive cross admission schools are going to their waitlist. This sometimes can have a small chain reaction and spots open up.
Honestly it is looking like a very small number. But that could be your spot. Hang in there and good luck.
What’s the current school you deposited for fall? Probably pretty great too.
@cattledog I recently talked to my admissions representative and she said they are still waiting to see if there will be any waitlist movement. Unfortunately, it appears as if there would only be a handful of people chosen from the waitlist if they do decide to use it. I’m in the same situation as your daughter and have been anxiously waiting for an acceptance letter since December. I wish her good luck, whatever may happen!
Obviously they had a full class after the May 1 deadline. If enough students come off waitlists at other schools they want to attend more, spots will open. That’s the hope. Only issue is if more accepted than planned and the drop off doesn’t bring it below the number they need. That’s the unknown equation. Hang in there. A lot of students are weighing options this weekend. The next few weeks could bring some good news.
