@bbfan1927 Also I am applying as a CS major, do you think that the fact that it is such a small department at BC will increase my chances? I was thinking today that I probably don’t have much competition because not many people apply to BC for CS. I would like to switch to Bioinformatics once i get there. I did not know that they offered that until recently, and that is the exact field that i am interested in.
@IndirectProofs - Cant speak to 2019 transfers, but for transfers 2018, I know for a fact, BC was most definitely need blind.
Vandy has a very good psych dept, so I understand the reason for Vandy over BC, but Vandy’s business school is not the same caliber as CSOM.

They released 5/10 last year, but if they hold to the Thursday trend then it would be 5/9 this year. So I’m expecting tomorrow.
I also have a deposit deadline elsewhere and asked them to push up my decision but they refused saying it would be by the end of the week, so it will definitely be this week regardless.

BC released like normal reg app decisions last year via email at 5:02 on a thursday, i think it’s tomorrow

@zs2019transfer I feel like it would be net same chance since it’s a small department and not many are applying, but there also aren’t many spaces. Sidenote: I’m actually also intending to do a bioinformatics concentration (though from the other direction starting in bio or biochem) ?
