Thank you for your continued interest in Boston College. It has been nearly a month since we sent you a waitlist survey in April. Since that time, a number of colleges and universities have moved to their waitlists and we want to make sure you are still interested in admission to Boston College.
While we have already admitted some students from our waitlist, additional offers are likely to be made in the days or weeks ahead. As a result, we plan to keep our waitlist throughout the summer months. Need-based financial aid is available for eligible students admitted from the waitlist. We will not be offering merit scholarships.
With this in mind, please complete this short survey as soon as possible – even if you completed our survey in April. Decisions about future offers of admission will be informed by the responses to this survey.
My daughter just got an email that she was accepted off the waitlist. She sent an email to her advisor yesterday to update her resume with her final semester grades and that she is graduating cum laude. She then got the survey and filled it out to say she would definitely enroll if a spot was offered. Then this morning she received the acceptance letter. She is thrilled. 34 ACT 5.3/5.0 GPA, strong extracurriculars, good but not great letter of recommendation. Best of luck everyone!
I was wondering that whether submitting my final report would be kind of necessary in the process. Or in other words, if I did not submit it, would I be placed in a less prior position in the whole waiting list? Thank you for responding to this!
@2024mom@user_387298@2020seniorN congratulations! I got in off the waitlist 2 years ago… seems like yesterday. I’m a bio major, pre med. Welcome to BC. Let me know if you have any questions. Congrats
If they want to see your final grades, they’ll ask for them. However, probably not likely as most schools went to P/F or C/NR for the now online semester.
Just make sure you complete the latest survey to indicate your continued interest.
