waitlist. not really surprised since I didnā€™t demonstrate much interest

4.0/1570, received National merit (semi finalist on app), dance ECs, math modeling comps

donā€™t really care except that it breaks my acceptance streak :broken_heart:

edit: also needed a lot of aid and Iā€™m pretty sure theyā€™re need aware

Waitlist; honestly a little surprised that I even got thisā€¦

98 ish UW, 101.62 W (last time I checked), 3/330ish people, very mid ecs (though I hope my few acts of community service stood out, Iā€™m really proud of those), 1500 sat score (720 rw/780m) applied biomedical engineering

Also showed absolutely no demonstrated interest

accepted- 3.9 UW, 4.4 W, 4 APs( 5 on the two Iā€™ve taken), no SAT, had alot of volunteering, led 2 clubs, NHS etcā€¦ I think my essays really helped, i wrote two additional essays, explaining my love for BU and another about my ecs and why my grades were less than impressive one year( mom had two kids, had to stay home a lot). demonstrated interest went crazy. Plus my stepdad is alumnus but he only did two years( accelerated) in 2018 before we even met lol. Iā€™ve been waitlisted/rejected at less selective schools so it is all really random.

Accepted into Wheelock!!! They had not received any of my financial aid info and I had no communication with them at all. Super shocked to say the least!!!

3.9 UW, 4.0 W, 1440 SAT (submitted), Class Rank: 10/250, 2 AP (Both 5s), 5 Honors, 13 Dual Enrollment classes.

School Academic Awards, National African-American Recognition Award, and Future Business Leader award

ECs: class president, various honors societies, started her own tutoring business, a legal internship in 11th grade, high volume of volunteer hours, a full-time dually enrolled student currently

Excellent LORs and good essays
