Portal didnât get shut down last year before decisions came out
It seems that when they havenât look at your profile, the portal will show âour recordâ with ED. After they finish evaluating your application, if you are accepted, they will change the message to âthank youâ, if you get deferred pr denied, they will remove the Ed thing. One of my friend shows âour recordâ with ED until yesterday evening, he called me and told me that his portal changed to âthank youâ message.
The thing I donât get is that some students still got rejected with the âthank youâ message last year⊠So I am just so confused

Ok here is what I think. Thank you indicateS acceptance and denial. That means âthank youâ means a solid conclusion has been made for your decision. However, âour records indicateâ means they need more credentials to make a decision. Our records indicate w/ ED proves that they didnât make a decision and the message without ED proves deferred not necessarily denial. The our records indicate is the initial message for everyone in the RD Pool
In ed 1 usually thank you only means in acceptance in ed 2 thank you meant both
One of the BU rep told my school counselor that the reason why it takes them so long to make decision this year is because the quality of applications are extremely high.
