It’s weird that me and a few others here messages haven’t changed does that mean rejection? Previous years no one seemed to have that
@imsuperscaredomg ohhh, I see. Thank you so much for clarifying that!
I’m not sure @astroworld11 - does it still say the “our records indicate message w/ED”?
@imsuperscaredomg FWIW I have our records… ed and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get deferred just based on my stats so this is a very plausible theory imo
@javery1 yes
But as I’ve said before I changed school of admission 2 weeks ago
were you supposed to send in citizenship match as part of financial aid?
It probably just isn’t changing due to you changing the school you applied to. If anything, we hear back really soon so keep your head up! Not much longer now!
thanks for the support it helps man!!!
Of course! Wishing all of us the best of luck, and hoping for decisions to come out within the next few days xx
Hi everyone!! I applied ED to CAS and my status still says “Our records indicate… Early Decision candidate for the September 2019 semester”. I’ve missed out on a lot of the thread so could someone explain what this means?
@gabs1234 - that’s the default message. It has changed to something else in previous years, and no one really knows why it hasn’t this year (apart from with astroworld, because of switching schools applied to). We really don’t know, sorry.
@Javery1 It’s ok, thanks for explaining! Wishing everyone the best of luck!
No worries
Now I’m having doubts oh whether the Thank you message really means anything
Honstely it can be BU’s way of saying “thank you, next” to applicants
Def not thank you next hahaha
I’m going to try not to doubt anything. I would just say go with your intuition. @rjcookiez - what does yours say?
People with the default message (that we assume means no decision yet) …it might mean also that they’re working on decisions later than they did last year guys lol.
Remember, the hard deadline they have (and announce) is December 15th. Of course, decisions probably won’t be out on a Saturday and they set an internal deadline that they don’t announce. Latest is Friday the 14th.
@orbitally I still think it will be Monday based on everything said
they have ALWAYS done the ED 2 information session after they release ed 1 decisions so i’m assuming that means monday decisions will be out since the info session is tuesday
