okay but they can give admission decisions before they can give financial aid decisions right? so can there even really be a correlation to our financial aid messages and acceptances?

@ayecollegekid1 yes i used to have it in the message, i took screenshots throughout to keep track.
it used to say “your application for financial aid is complete. additional forms may be requested when your application is reviewed. once a decision is made on your application for admission, a decision will be made on your financial aid. you will be notified about financial aid by mail and the decision will also be available to you on the Link. If you would like additional information blah blah blah the following 2 focuments have been recieved by our office.”
now it says, “Your application for financial aid is complete. Once a decision is made on your application for admission, a decision will be made on your financial aid. You will be notified about financial aid by mail and the decision will also be available to you online on the Link. Any items reported below as REQUIRED must be received before funds can be credited to your account.
The following 2 document(s) have been RECEIVED by our office.”

maybe the message change indicates that our financial application was reviewed? lol idk but i dont think the financial aid message has correlation to admission decision. but then again idk BU got me confused

I agree the FA page doesn’t have much correlation with the application status page.
I’m not applying for aid so I have: “We do not have any financial aid documents on record for you…” etc.
I’m calling it! BU going to finesse us and won’t release it tomorrow. Like straight up

We were all hoping for last Friday and there was a lot of hype for that but it def. wasnt coming out that early… we all got to excited lol
Also, if you didn’t apply for financial aid this year can you apply next year or at a different time?
Lol all the facts, there are some people with “our records… ED” so unless a change happens tmr after 9am (when admissions open) then I would not be surprised if it did not come out tomorrow
Tbh that’ll be nice if almost everyone here got in, we would be the “Anxious College Confidential Gang”
@rjcookiez but like why would they have an EDII session on Tuesday if the decisions did not come out the day before
i feel like our records indicate with ed means they might be rejected idk i just know the people at my school who still have it, have much lower GPA’s and SAT while the people with thank you are more in the range for BU (stats and gpa wise). but i could be wrong
@BUIsMyBaby idk about CSS profile, but you can do FAFSA for next year. If your parents’ income is high, then you may not be able to get aid. dont quote me on that tho
Also BU doesnt talk about ED2 until after ED1 decisions come out
If i get in and my FA package isnt good, then i cant go. So i have 2 things to worry about
