I submitted mine in October and I also just got the thank you message on the 30th of November
Basically everyone in this chat got the thank you message changed on the same date, nov 30th (if u got the change)
So is the thank you message no longer related to acceptance?
some people got the message change early November which was really weird… tbh I don’t think this “thank you” vs “our records indicate” speculation applies to this year. If you look at last year’s thread, people’s messages changed at the same time aka December 5th. at this point I don’t know anymore. all I want is an acceptance letter man LOL

Lets just wait this week out. If everyone’s message changes to “thank you”, then we’ll know for sure that the speculation doesn’t apply to this year. If this isn’t the case and people actually end up with “our records indicate” WITHOUT the words early decision, then we will know the speculations are true.
Well if peoples changed the same time last year then maybe it still correlates to acceptance this year
nah but like everyone on the 2022 thread got their messages changed on 12/5. In our particular case, only some of us got our messages changed while the others are still on “our records indicate … early decision”
so last year, on december 5th, everyones message got changed either to the “thank you” or “our records indicate” without the words early decision in it??
I looked on the thread and literally like only one person talked about their message changing on that date
could also be possible that we just all got in LOL hopefully?

I have sort of a theory that people (like us LOL) that are so obsessive over getting into their ED, like how we do stuff like examining the language on the app portal and all that, are probably the people that are qualified or even overqualified for the school anyways.

I sent out my application in early October. Originally I had the “Our records indicate…” message, but it changed to the “Thank you” message a couple weeks later. However, my school only sent out my 1st quarter grades last week. I am confused why it changed before my grades were sent out. Did they make a decision without them or is this not the final message? Just want to hear what others think.
Just want to add that they never sent me an email asking for my grades. Does this mean anything either?

And @nikib215 they usually send out decisions on a Monday or Friday
