1410, 4.0, lots of EC, LOR i thikn is eh, Common app essay valid, why bU essay is ok. couldve done better for sure but i had writer’s block. i love BU but i cant put it into words if that makes sense. first gen, got lots of leadership positions. top 25%

My GPA is garbage (good progression tho) but I have 1470 7/6/7 and tons of leadership ECs so I have no clue where to place myself lol. I would call it a reach but others told me its a match, who knows
its a target for me but you never know

1420, 3.7 gpa 8 Ap’s, lots of ec’s -raised 150,000 dollars for charity over the past 2 years. started multiple clubs, honor society, varsity sport for 4 years, had a job in the summers, strong recs and essay made everyone cry who read it. was a target school for me but i’m nervous it is a reach just based on how competitive it’s gotten
did any of you get the “oh why did you ED to BU” comment from your peers? they act like ED should only be for the T10 schools.
No one in my school knew what BU was lol
my stats would never get me into a T10 LOL so no one really questioned it. most people at my school ED no matter their stats
I was always told I was reaching down, but I loved the school when I visited it. I feel like they also don’t know how competitive it actually is.
Is the “My Profile” section on the BU portal not working for anyone else? When I try to click on it, I just get redirected to the home page

I’m an international applicant and the words on my portal has recently changed to “Thank you”. Till now, some applicants changed to “thank you…”, some with" our records indicate that… with a early decision", and some just “thank you…”. It is quite tricky!! I am freaking out!!!
Lol even tho half of u r saying it’s coming out today, I feel like we shouldn’t assume stuff like that anymore cuz now we’re just bringing our hopes up for no reason.
