Don’t look at the common app please lol, I don’t think it has any correlation with our actual admission decision.
Also, the “our records … ED” could very well mean they didn’t review it. I don’t believe it’s too late yet. Just because they were early years prior, doesn’t mean they will be early this year as well. Not to mention, with the glitch Friday that could have thrown a fork in the road.
IMO, ED decision round has been seeing a lot of changes nationally. More people are applying ED and the whole process has been somewhat more competitive and complicated.
I looked through all of the messages posted on college confidential in the past three years. The trend is really obvious that “thank you” corresponds with acceptance while “Our records” corresponds with defer. However, this trend seems only reasonable for ED1. For ED2, there were students denied with “Thank you” message. But, since there are only a small proportion of students applying to BU presenting their Information on College confidential, it is not for sure that “thank you” definitely means acceptance.
Let’s just wait for the final result !
Don’t be so nervous now guys !!
So do we think that the thank you message means acceptance this year? I dont know why of all years they would change the trend this year. I have the thank you message and it changed yesterday after the website went down. Im so nervous.
Did your message change from the “our records” message to the “thank you” one? Or was it previously “thank you” and then was changed to “our records” after the site went down?
