Bowdoin grading

I think when you go to any academically challenging school there will typically be no easy A’s. It will depend on how much work you put into it and respond to what your professor is asking you to do. It isn’t impossible yet not easy. I think coming into Bowdoin you should be more about learning and broadening your horizons than about getting A’s across the board. By all means be motivated(I plan on law school) but don’t let the fear of not getting straight A’s discount your education. Bowdoin has a 91% acceptance rate to med school which is higher than the nation 50% average so med schools obviously like Bowdoin students. I almost made a similar decision and I figured it’s better to learn to work hard for great grades now in undergrad with really smart, motivated people than struggle in grad school with even smarter more motivated people.
