We made 2 batches of the mini chocolate chip pancakes with the grandkids this morning while mom and dad sleep in a bit (funny that sleeping til just before 8 am is “sleeping in”. ) There were a few extra pancakes waiting to be eaten by someone until granddaughter sneezed. That was the end of that.
The excursion to the bakery was a fail, as the counters were wiped clean save for a few choc chip cookies. I settled on sheet pan blueberry pancakes, which the kids will get all ingredients ready for before going to bed tonight.
Eat pie. All day
D1 is hosting thanksgiving. Dinner is going to be around 4 or 5. I am responsible for h’orderves for around 11ish. I am bringing shrimp cocktail, cheese, cured meat, humus, olives. D1 said they will have a heavy breakfast.
Correction- mini m&m s. Not chocolate chips.
I always arrange the holiday meal so that only two meals needed. Dinner usually around 2 or 3, often after a round of appetizers. “supper” is more snacking, maybe an extra helping of pie.
