What grade is your daughter in? I’m a junior and I enrolled in CMU Pre-College as well! Last year I did NYU Tisch Summer Program (NSB) and it was amazing!!! The reason why I choose to do the cmu program as a rising senior is because the program focuses on the colllege audition most of the time. I’ve heard through multiple that you’ll leave with around 6 songs and 6 monologues. Don’t get me wrong NYU was an amazing experience and I wouldn’t change it for the world, but I think it’s a better program for rising juniors. And as for Broadway Intensive I’m sure it’s amazing. I think one of my friends from NYU did that program right after it ended (or maybe it was Bway Evolved). Honestly I think it depends on your family is looking for. Me I really want to build my audition book, and I think that going to CMU to build it is perfect! If you need to ask me any questions about my experience last year at NYU just pm me!
