My guess is that they meant May 15th. On the Brown waitlist letter, it says that they don’t release decisions before May 15th and after June 30th. There will probably be a bigger wave on Friday. Don’t lose hope.
I called the admissions office this morning to ask about the waitlist, and they said that the process was far from over and they would be looking again at applications to make a final decision within the next few weeks.
May I ask what you all did to get off the waitlist? Like LOCIs, additional recs, etc?
And if you’re comfortable disclosing, if you needed financial aid or if you’re full pay.

If colleges go online, do you think Brown would still grant deferrals past May 15th? I’m assuming that if that is announced, a lot of people may ask for it. Maybe in June?
In that case, will Brown keep their waitlist active past June (unlike what they said in the FAQ)?

If so, then that makes even more sense for the letter. Basically they didn’t change the content of it so it still says “before May 1st”.

Yeah, I’m expecting the same. The first “official” wave should be this friday.
For those that got off the waitlistI, did submit your LOCI to your portal or did you email it to your regional admissions officer?
Is there any chance there’s a wave today? Previous years it seems like they’ve released primarily on Thursdays.
It’s possible, but they released a wave on Monday, so I think it should take a little longer
