<p>Off the topic, but a brown interview related query.</p>
<p>So a friend of mine recently had his interviewer call him up to fix an interview and also told him that he gotten through Brown’s first round of admission’s processing - and was hence offered the interview!! I am unfamiliar with admissions but do they have rounds of selections?? As far as I know - Brown Interviews, like rest of the Ivies, are purely informational and are offered to each & every person!!</p>
<p>Also does the interviewer even get such information? let alone reveal it to the applicant?</p>
<p>So is it a case of my friend trolling me(highly unlikely from his behavior in school today!) or did he misunderstand his interviewer? Or is it true that Brown processes admissions in rounds and interviewers get to know the status of the applicants?? </p>
