What time will the decisions come out?

@bsmdstudent101 7 PM EST

@Lemonade22
Via FA link I have 10 documents listed (various dates satisfied from Dec 7, 2017 to March 26, 2018).

wow!

@Volunteerism I also have ten (the student w2 was waived because I don’t work). Hoping this is a good sign. Did your docs change on march 23rd at all?

I have
CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE Satisfied Dec 18, 2017

Copy of Parents 2016 W-2 Satisfied Feb 28, 2018

Copy of Parents 2017 W-2 Satisfied Mar 03, 2018

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Satisfied Dec 07, 2017

Non Filer Statement for Student Satisfied Feb 28, 2018

Schedule A Itemized deductions Satisfied Feb 28, 2018

Signed Copy of Parent’s 2016 Tax Return Satisfied Feb 28, 2018

Signed Copy of Parent’s 2017 Tax Return Satisfied Mar 06, 2018

Signed Copy of Student’s 2016 Federal Tax Return Waived Feb 28, 2018

Brown emailed me a few weeks ago asking for my parents’ 2017 tax returns because I indicated on CSS that there was a change in income… so apparently they read my extenuating circumstances paragraph earlier this month? I posted about it a while up on this thread.

Some documents have an updated date from post submissions via IDOC. I.e. summited them in February but show March satisfied (presumably processed date). I also have a late request for additional docs (2017 related) last week which show now as March 26 satisfied thus at least is an acknowledgement of receipt and processing.

@writegirl0316 Ditto. ā€œa change in income… so apparently they read my extenuating circumstancesā€

Brown never even requested IDOC stuff from me so…yay.

@bigchoices2018 If you uploaded the documents for another school, Brown can download them from IDOC without having to request them.

@lacmom71 Thanks! Although my FA portal also hasn’t changed to include more documents. Who knows, not holding my breath though!

Im an international applicant and didnt get interviewed by Brown. Is that normal???

does any of this financial aid document stuff mean anything? :frowning:

@noremaco Hope not! LOL

@noremaco i hope it doesnt but i feel like it does mean something - i don’t have the 10 docs listed either

@Volunteerism Didn’t know anyone else who went through that (re: change in income!) My mom was immediately like ā€œOk looks like that one’s an acceptanceā€ and I was like no…

can someone who received a likely share what their financial aid portals say?

@writergirl0316
I am sure we are not the only ones and FA team see these each year. At least, as applicants, we are still ā€œin the runningā€.

Why does brown allow us to search for courses if we aren’t even accepted yet makes no sense

quite a few colleges allow it? @Achen8914

What’s the chance of deferred students getting accepted? I applied to Brown ED and got deferred. I really should have applied to Columbia ED since that is my dream school
