<p>Yes, definitely do something! Not just to get into college. I started my summer doing literally nothing and it was the single most boring time of my life. All my friends had jobs and I was stuck just hanging around (on CC!) until I finally started volunteering at the library and got a job myself. But seriously, summer boredom sucks.</p>
