Brown does have PLME, Program in Liberal Medical Education which guarantees you admission to their medical school when you apply as a freshman. A handful of other schools have programs similar to PLME. To get into Brown, like any other elite school you need stellar grades/SAT scores and extracurriculars. <p>Admissions rate to PLME is approx. 5% which is significantly lower than admissions to Brown as a whole which was 14% for the class of 2011 but may be lower for class of 2012 since there were a record number of applicants this year.</p>
