Here’s a link from brown’s website that has more info about admission statistics https://admission.brown.edu/transfer/candidates
Given the data from the cdf, looks like there were 72 spring acceptances in 2019
considering brown’s policies, I assume for those of us who applied for FA, we will be in a tighter pool hoping to get admitted. Do we know what numbers of transfers admitted applied for FA?
Hey guys,
I applied as a sophomore transfer for International Relations. In the 0.00001% chance that I get in, I’m really worried about getting rescinded due to a grade in a single class. I’m going to end up with a C in Calculus II this semester but I’ve gotten A’s in all of my other classes this year. Does anyone know what the policy for transfer students is for getting rescinded?
@student5436 - lol i also applied as international and public affairs
and no, u wont get rescinded - i doubt it
thanks lol I totally freaked out because I bombed my final exam
good luck!
@student5436 - lol u are fine. no probs! r u incoming junior or incoming sophomore for fall 2020?
how could I havent received the email about the checklist disappearing ?
@xuerui
You are not alone, I didn’t get it either.
that literally makes 0 sense. If anything, if brown was online they would want more students to pay their tuition for online classes… they wouldn’t need to worry about having housing available or some of the problems that they use to cap admissions for on campus.
@heyigotnoclue i’m a rising sophomore!
@student5436 - OH COol! best of luck!
Did you check your spam?
yea, havent received the email… though i don’t think it means anything
Am I the only junior applicant?
If I had to guess, probably not lol
I am applying as a junior as well
I had to ask cause majority of the people I see talking here are sophomores
@DonShanko - junior here
The checklist disappeared! I wonder when they will send an email notifying the decision date and time.
Checklist is gone, also. That is a new development.
