huh. Then I should be going to bed since it’s so late where I am. I hope this wait ends soon.
I just called admissions and I was sent straight to the automated response saying that the office was closed. Is this just because of COVID-19 or is the office actually closed this week. It said their normal hours of operation were 8-5 or something like that.
Got this from their website:
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brown’s Office of College Admission staff members are working remotely until further notice. Our offices are closed but our main phone line (401) 863-2378 and email are operative during normal business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
I had the same idea as you about calling, I’ll try them and see if I can get any answers.
EDITED: I did get through! All they were able to tell me is to keep checking email, and to check often.

purely speculation but i feel like if there were a legitimate reason for delay (especially because of COVID-19) they would have sent us an email-- “our admissions department is working remotely and its taking longer to deliberate on applications” or something like that. either way, i hope today’s the day and good luck to all!
