I e-mailed my regional Brown Admissions Officer about the “glitch” and just got a response.
He first thanked me for getting him in touch and that I would be able to find out the decision on the posted date.

@tydlwav Congrats on being admitted!!! That’s so amazing!!! I’m so jealous of u (partially bc u know and partially bc of the admit). Do you know any other international applicants (like at your school)? I wonder if they do this with all international apps…or just in general why you received a call.

Does anyone know if Brown emails you about the status of your application after it is posted on Wednesday? I am taking a really important final (I have a low A :/) Friday morning, so I am making myself wait to check until after the test (either outcome would be super distracting). I sort of want to know if I need to stay away from my email too…

Under the financial aid tab (FinAid, Undergrads, Upload FinAid Documents) I have the option of uploading docs for the 2017-2018 aid year (I applied for FinAid).

@sadb0ys I don’t think so. Mine seems normal.
@abellefol I know that the accepted students at my high school got a call, but I nobody out of my school had, which is strange. But we confirmed that this is not a prank or something since our counselors received an email from the admissions office confirming our acceptance.
