<p>Look, if one of the boasters above hadn’t thought it an important “pro-Yale” point to make, he wouldn’t have falsely claimed that New Haven had a lower crime rate than either Cambridge or Providence. </p>
<p>Why can’t we just resolve this very simple matter, withdraw the improper claim, and move on to boast about other things?</p>
