Bump if your family thinks you're crazy

… to ensure that there is never any reason to leave, at any juncture in one’s life!

My family stops short of thinking I’m crazy. They just think I am really weird. Yesterday I was accused of having joined a secret society.

Can the KIDS bump in as well?..

Actually, frm my father till my co-workers at the part time job, give one of those SMILES which overanxiousmother talked about!

(whispering)my father was even making plans with my mother the other day of blocking this whole website>>This was ofcourse after my ACCEPTANCE in April…:D…Otherwise they were always enthusiastic to hear “Whats Happening in MY CC” over the dinner table.

N.B: I dont need help with my addiction though…

I have to hide!! Like your kids do when you come into the room and they are IM-ing so they flip to another window. My kid does NOT want me on CC.

Ok, I’ll make a BUMP as well. I have to admit that I come back here even after getting the acceptance; I usually remember my post-count and keep memories of certain threads - gee, that sounds addictive :D

ezduzzit, I have mastered quickly and guiltily switching out of this forum when footsteps approach.

I think my husband thinks I’m crazy when I start talking about people here like they are friends of mine. However, when son and I are discussing some college issue, he will sometimes ask, “What do people on CC think of this?” So at least HE appreciates the overwhelming value of time spent here. (He just doesn’t know the overwhelming amount of TIME I spend here! or he WOULD think I am crazy…) (Have to learn how to do the smilies sometime…)

An addendum to my earlier post: actually, my husband has recently said I should be PAID for the time I spend on this site since I am a school counselor. Too bad my students do not want to leave the county, much less leave the state!

(And of course, the school board MIGHT not think I should be paid for asking for advice about D’s wedding.)
